Being able to effectively use your leaders is paramount in your effort to network with and dominate other players. This will outline some of the basics on how to utilize your leader’s time.
- Once you have gone to the Military Academy and clicked on the leaders name you wish to use, your screen should look something like this:
- Since we have a new and inexperienced leader we should spend some time training him so that he can gain some experience and be more effective in the future. So, I will click the ‘Train’ link.
- This page displays all the various career paths that you leader can train for and the skills that are increased. It is important to note that you are never limited to any one training path. It is actually recommended that you cross train to give your leader a wider array of abilities. For the sake of this tutorial we will select the ‘Special Forces’ link to increase our Small Arms and Infiltration skills.
- You will now be able to select the training difficulty level. Since your leader is currently level 0 in both Small Arms and Infiltration we are only able to select level 0. As you gain levels you will be able to select higher and higher training level.
- Level – how difficult the training will be
- How many hours you must commit in order to complete the training
- Exp Earned- how much experience you earn if your training attempts were successfully (failing you receive a percentage of this number)
- Lethal – Some training is so dangerous that your leader has a chance to die from it.
- Accept – click this to confirm the level of difficulty you wish to train for. Once you accept it you must complete it. So choose wisely.
- Clicking the ‘Accept’ link brings you back to the Leader Detail page. This page should be the same as before except that you are have a link showing the Training and level you selected. Click that link to continue.
- This page shows you how many hours remaining to complete your training and allows you to commit more hours. Since you start with 15 hours and all level 0 training takes 15 hours you will be able to complete your first round of training today. Enter 15 in the hours box and click ‘Commit’
- Once you have completed your training you will get a confirmation message as seen below. Since completion of abilities is random your screen may be different. You may have failed either one or both of the skill tests. Once you have completed these tasks you will be able to view your new experience points earned by clicking on your leader name.
- You can see your new experience points earned (highlighted by the red squares). Also take note that you now have 0 hours left to use. You leader must rest for the next 22 hours 34 minutes and 24 seconds. When he will be able to use another 15 hours (unused hours are deleted).
