Machines
The Robots have been said to produce their machinery
with infallible engineering. They have the most
efficient manufacturing facilities and create the
least amount of waste when producing their units.
This allows for the quick production of units using
relatively small amounts of resources. While they
may have the ability to create armies of epic proportion,
those armies are sometimes susceptible to the more
intelligent military strategy of the humans and
the power of the aliens. The robots have thick armor
and are strong when fortified in defense but lack
the ability for abstract thought and problem solving.
This results in tactical skills that are often inferior
to those of their enemies and they must rely on
overwhelming numbers to achieve victory. Although
they are masters of perfecting mechanical processes,
machine thought is extremely slow in recognizing
and developing innovations. The Robots do not believe
in any system of religion with one all mighty God.
Somewhere along the line the Robots stumbled upon
ancient Greek texts and began to revel in the long
lost human stories of superior beings. No one really
knows if they named their ships after these Greek
gods as a sarcastic tribute to the organic races
or if the machines actually respect and believe
in these Greek “myths.”
