Sending Troops
Building troops does not assure victory, you now need to command those troops in battle.
-
To do this first navigate to your command center:
-
We will now give you a brief walk through of this screen (your screen may be different depending on what troops you have built, in this case we have built 1 defense drone, 4 attack drones, 10 RAV’s, and 11 Pheidippides, all of which are now ready for battle):
-
As you can see there are several fields that provide you information and various options you can choose when dispersing your troops.
- Size: Represents how much transport space 1 of the respective units will fill.
- Transport: This field shows how much space a ship has to transport troops. The Pheidippidis has transport space for 12 size 1 units.
- Quantity: Shows you how many of the units you currently have under command
- Exp: represents how much experience your units have.
-
Send: How many units do you want to send? We have selected 10 RAV’s (requiring 20 transport slots (10x2), 4 attack drones (requiring 4 transport slots (4x1), and 2 Pheidippides (providing a total of 24 transport slots). Only ground based units require transports to move.
- At the bottom of the screen you see these options:
-
First decide if you want to Reinforce an allies planet with your troops, Attack an enemy, Air Raid an Enemy, or send an all out Full Attack. We have decided to send an regular attack.
- Next fill out the target player name and their planet name OR the (x,y) coordinates of the planet you wish to attack. We have filled out poopyface and the name of poopyface’s planet that we want to attack.
-
Transport Space needed: this box tells you if you have excess transport room, need more transport room, or have filled your transports perfectly. If the number is negative you must either reduce the number of ground units you are sending or add more vehicles with troop carrying capability to the attack. If the number is positive you have excess transport space, and if it is zero you have filled your transports space with the maximum number of units you can move.
-
Energy per Square: This box tells you how much energy you will need to move your entire army each square of the map. If you are moving this army 1 square it would cost 2 energy units. One to get your army there and 1 to bring them home.
- Click Send Troops, you will get a confirmation screen. Confirm the attack and your attack occurs immediately.
