National Pride plays a vital role in Conrohl. A player that does not pay close attention to their pride levels can quickly get themselves into trouble.

Your level of national pride directly effects your resource production. If you are at 100% national pride you produce resources, including technology, at the expected rate. For example a level 2 iron field is expected to produce 23 units of iron/hr. If you are at 100% pride you will produce exactly 23 units of iron /hr. However, let us say your pride falls to 70%. You will then be producing iron, and all other resources, at a 70% rate or about 16 units/hr.

As you can see National Pride is an extremely important item to monitor. You can closely monitor you National pride through your City Center. First you must build a city center. Once built navigate there and then click on the “National Pride” link seen here..

To calculate your pride ratio just divide your total National pride by your total population. Your National Pride ratio can never fall below 50% and will never surpass 110%. An important note is that when above 100% you do achieve a bonus to production.

In order to keep your National Pride at a high level you must satisfy your ever growing population. To do this you can build Arenas, Worship Centers, or research new technologies. All of these things will add to your total National Pride. When you are ready to settle or conquer a new planet make sure you are mindful of your National Pride levels, as bringing a new planet under your control will cause National Pride to be reduced.
